Terra – Project Manager
My name is Terra Deller and I have been a Project Manager at Content Refined since November of 2021.
From a young age I developed a love of animals and a keen interest in biology and English. My love of reading made me into a self-professed grammar nerd. Throughout high school and university, my friends and siblings often asked me to proofread their papers, which I would do for a small fee. (Hey, if you’re good at something, never do it for free!)
I attended the University of Guelph and graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in biomedical science. From there, I took on a variety of animal-related jobs, working as a dog walker, a turkey wrangler, and a horse handler. My job at the horse barn enabled me to fulfill my lifelong dream of owning my first horse – a grey Thoroughbred named Romeo.
In 2015 I made the leap to the field of e-learning, where I developed online courses for a wide range of professions and businesses. It was there I learned the technical side of computers and put my eye for detail to work proofreading and QA’ing the content our team developed.
After six years, I transitioned over to Content Refined, joining the team as a Project Manager. I love working with my team of writers, editors, and developers, as well as honing my trivia skills through the random bits of knowledge I pick up reviewing content.
My goal as a Project Manager is always to exceed my clients’ expectations and deliver quality content that is engaging, informative, and grammar nerd approved.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, writing, running, and of course, riding Romeo. I also run a dog walking and pet sitting business on the side, and I provide respite support for children with special needs. I love giving back to my community and have met some incredible people through the different volunteer positions I have held.
